Our Food
With over thirty years' experience we are proud to offer you a wide range of home-cooked food carefully prepared and served by our enthusiastic team. All our dishes are locally sourced wherever possible and reflect our desire to support our local businesses.
All our meat is sourced from Derbyshire with our main supplies of Rob Stafford of Mickleover and Holdsworth Food Service of Tideswell. Our fish is supplied by Bob Morris of Buxton and our fruit and vegetables come from Fresh Choice of Ashbourne
Ales & Wines
We offer a variety of guest ales, these include: Whim Ales of Hartington; Peak Ales of Chatsworth; Dancing Duck Brewery; Wincle Beer and Derby Brewery Co.
We stock a large selection of Malt Whiskies.
We offer 3 - 4 house wines in addition to our extensive wine list.

The Coach & Horses Inn is situated on the A515 in Fenny Bentley approximately 2 miles from the market town of Ashbourne and 13 miles from Buxton. Our 17th Century coaching inn is a traditional country free house with many features that appeal both to our local community and seasonal visitors alike. Low oak beams, flagged floors and inviting log fires ensure that our guests return time and time again.
John,William, Matthew, Chris, Jack and Holly are the Dawson family and are always pleased to greet you whether just to sample one of our local cask ales, fine wines or excellent range of whiskies or perhaps to dine with us. The choice is yours - maybe in the cosy bar area, front dining room or the extended garden room.
